Who are we?

A-A1 Foods was established in 1998 by Peter Quang Huynh with a single pickup truck, a vision, and inspiration from his father-in-law. Peter recognized an opportunity to provide Austin’s thriving restaurant scene with high-quality produce at fair prices by sourcing directly from suppliers. His straightforward approach and commitment to customer satisfaction quickly made an impact, helping local restaurants thrive with fresher ingredients and more affordable options.

As word spread about Peter’s dedication to “good quality, good value, good service,” his brother Dave Huy Huynh joined the company, and together they expanded their offerings to include meats, seafood, frozen products, and dry goods. Over the years, A-A1 Foods has grown into a trusted partner for restaurants across Austin and surrounding areas, maintaining its family-driven ethos while helping shape the city’s vibrant culinary landscape

In 2003, A-A1 Foods expanded to its current warehouse, to grow along with Austin's growth.  Specializing in ingredients for Asian cuisines, we partner closely with independent Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese/Asian Fusion, Indian, Korean, Mediterranean, as well as Latino and other restaurants. We’re committed to building long-lasting relationships with our customers, with the same focus as in 1998 on quality, value, and service, through:

• Our own fleet of refrigerated delivery trucks and drivers

• Dedicated Buyers who seek out the lowest prices for you (and can source special order items specific to your restaurant)

• Daytime and evening Customer Service via text to assist you with your order

• Multilingual staff, including English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Mandarin

• Free delivery multiple times per week across Greater Austin, San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Marble Falls, Killeen, and Bastrop.
